Leaving On Friday

I'm leaving to go to a island!!!! It is really awesome and I am looking forward to it! (From what I know from the pictures...) We are going with some of our friends!!! :-) Well, if I don't post for a week that's why... Just wanted to let you all know.

Back from Indiana

I just got back! I was my NaNa and she was helping me with my horse back riding! I ride Western. It was really fun!!! I have ridden before but I have a lot more experience now!!! It was for a whole week and I got to see my cousin Connor and my friend Kerrigan! :-) I will be posting tons of pictures soon! I got to take care of a mini pony named Pondy! :-) He is the CUTEST THING EVER! I got to ride a horse all week named Silver who is a Arabian and it was awesome! I also rode NaNa's horse named Susie Que. She has the smoothest trot ever! I will post videos also! So keep checking in to see them. Thanks!

Slumber Party!!!

I went and spent the night with my friend from Storm, Breanna. It was really fun!! :) We went to the mall and went it DEB and tried on the prom dresses that are really short for teens so they were down to knees on us! It was really fun! Of course, I had to hold the straps on the dress up... LOL My dress was pink and purple (doesn't sound cute but was) with silver sequins on it and it had had a pretty kind of buckle thing on top. I tried to get a picture from their site for you but I couldn't find the dress. Then, we went in Bath and Body Works and smelt perfumes and lipgloss. My lipgloss has kinda a redish pinkish tint to it! Here are crazy pics of me putting it on... LOL I know I'm bored. :)




Sunday, we went to her 3 (now 4) year old brother, Camden's, birthday party. It was at a soccer place and was really fun!!!
Anways, it was really fun and I can't wait to get together with her again soon!

Hospital Trip Cancelled

Mom got sick right at the last minute. We think she got food poisoning and was puking a lot!!!Now please keep her in your prayers also. She says she is feeling better now but we still couldn't take Emery to the hospital incase she pukes again later! :(

And if you haven't read the posts before this it will explain better, but Emery was dignosed with diabetes.

Bag for the Hospital

I packed Emery a bag of toys for her to play with at the hospital. I thought I would let you know this because she is very excited to play with all the toys and it is a big motivation for her.
In the bag I packed;
1. My Nintendo DS
2. My Only Hearts Club dolls (that I never play with anymore)
3. Magnet Dress Up Doll (Mom bought it at the store for her last night)
4. Princess Coloring book and Pooh coloring book (Mom bought those last night too)
5. A book (She loves to pretend to read chapter books)

Those are the things I packed for her last night. I think that I packed a few more little things for her too.

Wish her luck at the hospital and lets hope she likes it as much as she thinks she will. :o)

Results

I am sorry it took me so long to post this...
It turns out they wanted older people more then people my age I guess. The youngest person that made it was 17. I do not feel bad at all because of the ages. There is always next year!
I found out about another competition that I would like to enter, this one is a lot bigger then the one I entered. I think I have a better chance of making it is I do this contest because they have two age groups. One is 6-12 and the other is 13 and up. Mom thinks it looks cheesy so I might not get to enter. I don't know, The people who make it get to go to Florida to audition for more important people. Doesn't that sound cool? I will tell you if I end up entering it. =D

Private Horse Camp!

I get to go to my Nana's to ride horses for four days on Monday. I will be staying by my self with her and then the family comes up for my GrandPa's birthday. She is going to teach me more and I will learn how to ride better. Her horse's name is Suzie Q. She is a quarter horse and is brown, she is so sweet! I will be riding in one of her friends riding ring. Nana said that I will get to ride a beautiful mare. I do not know what her name is. Wish me luck!

Mom is gone!

Mom is out of town for work. She is gone for 5 days. She was excited because she was staying at a really cool hotel. When she checked in the people told her Jewel had just checked out earlier that day. She was probably staying there while Nashville Star was going on. Mom is having a really great time and is happy because she gets some time to have quiet time in the nights. She was just gone for two days before that for the National Down Syndrome conference. She had so much fun seeing people that she types to almost ever day on her Down Syndrome board. It was in Boston. It sounded really cool. She was gone for two days then home for two days then gone for 5 days. She is really busy lately. We all miss her a lot and hope she is having a great time. I have been emailing her a lot and she is emailing back a lot. It makes me really happy because I can almost hear her voice in side my head when I read the emails. Chantal (Mom's sister) is babysitting us while Mom is in Nashville and Dad is at work. She is staying in my room. She is really nice and has taken us to the pool almost every day. She is from Indiana and thought that she did not spend enough time with us so she wanted to babysit us while Mom was gone. Thanks to her for coming out this far to babysit us. We have been good so far and I hope we continue to be good!

Horse Camp

For the last 3 days Tarenne and I have been having horse camp. It is really fun and you get to ride a lot. We also groom them and clean their hooves. It is usually 5 days long but since it is forth of July on Friday they did 4 days. Tomorrow we get to show our parents what we have learned and braid our horse's hair and put ribbons in it's hair. It will be so fun. I can not wait for tomorrow! My horses name is Sonny and I have a partner for my horse named Amber. Sonny got new shoes yesterday so his feet were hurting today. I love horses so much! Also this August I am going up to see my Nana for four days. She has a horse named Suzie Q so I will get to ride her. Nana also has a friend that has a riding rink and horses she said I will be able to ride. Okay, I admit, I am obsessed with horses now! I have had a great horse camp and am looking forward to August.

Back from Camping

It turns out we came back a day early so Dad could have a day off from work. It was really fun and it is a beautiful lake. The lake is called Dale Hollow Lake and I wanted to wait and tell you after for safety purposes because I know that the Internet is not a very safe place. 2 days we rented a pontoon since we do not have a boat and it was two level and has a slide. We went to get water to put on it so it would be slippery. We were using one of the clear water bottles with the wrapper torn off so you could see the whole bottle... it was as clear as the drinking water that had came in that bottle. It was a beautiful lake and our friends were really fun to vacation with. We had a great time and thanks for your patience since I could not post in a week.

Camping

This week we are going camping. We will be camping for 4 days and 5 nights and staying in a cabin for 3 days. So I will not be able to write for a week. Sorry! We got 2 buckets of KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) that we are going to eat cold when we do not feel like cooking. It was fun last year and I think it will be even more fun this year because Oakley's family will be going with us. If we take some pictures I will try to put them on a separate post. 4th Grade on the News!

The whole fourth grade in my school was on the news! I had stayed hoem that day because I had just gotten back and with that time change it was hard for me to switch. I slept until 11:15 that day. Then today when I went to school everybody was saying "Darrah! We were on the news and you weren't here!" They are so lucky and I am so unlucky about that! It stinks! The weather guy from our news came and that is why they were on the news. I missed out on that! But, on the bright side I had a great time seeing my sisters, Mom and Dad again. Mom, Dad and Emery were home when I woke up. Marley had just gone to school for her afternoon Kindergarden. Emery is not yet in school and that is why she was home. Well gotta go!

Giving you a update...

I just wanted to give you an update of what I did today. Today I went to Muir Woods and also, Muir Beach. I was buried in that sand by Aunt Colette which was funny and fun. I have pictures that I might try to put on here. They are really funny. The beach is really beautiful and clean! I was really happy I got to go to the beach. I could not swim of course because it was too cold... but Aunt Colette's dog Daisy did! She swan into the ocean and big waves when we threw the stick to her. We tried to build a sand castle with our hands and it didn't work out to well. After that we went to Muir Woods which was really beautiful. I also took pictures of that which I also, will try to put on here. I am leaving tomorrow afternoon so pray for me to have a safe flight home. I have to go now! Bye!

Coming home soon!

I am coming home soon! I can not wait to see all of the girls and Mom and Dad! I have called them almost every day except for when they were out in a cabin where they don't receive phone service, I missed talking to them then. I would text message them a few messages though. Today my GrandPa (known as Papre') is sick puking which is not a very pleasant site!! We are going to the beach so we can get fresh air and not the stinky puke air, while he stays home. (He wanted us to.) We also are going to see Red Wood trees that are huge. I love the beach. The ones here are really clean too. Almost no litter except for one or two things. We go to the beaches that are not busy so we almost have it to ourselves and it is quiet and peaceful. I just talked to Mom on the phone and she is excited for me to come home. I am excited too. I miss my room, my hamster, my dog, my guitar, my music, and mostly my FAMILY! I can't wait to type all of my diary entries on here of what I did for you all to read! Well that is all I have to say for now! Bye!

In California

Right now I am in California typing this from my aunt's computer. I am having a great time and when I get home I will put the main highlights from my California diary. My aunt has a dog named Daisy who is really sweet. She is a mutt and has lots of energy and love. I have gone to many great places and for the rest of the day today I am just chilling out. Yesterday our day was packed with lots of fun and excitement! This is a great way to spend my spring break! Although I am missing my family a TON I remember them by pictures I put in my diary. I am looking forward to coming home. It is so different in California then it is in any other state. There are so many different cultures and foods. Yesterday we had a kind of food ( I forgot what it is called) and it is where you eat without silverware, but you eat with a piece of bread. IT was good but it made my stomach not feel very good. I am fine now though. I will write to you all soon!

Good-bye home... Hello CALIFORNIA!

I am going to California today. I am writing really early because I have to leave at 7:30 this morning! I will post about all the things I saw when I get back! This is my first time on an airplane so I am a little nervous about that but other then that I am super excited!

This is the first time I have been away from my family for a whole week and I really do not want to leave them. I wish they all could come but that would be EXTREMLY expensive. I have to go because Dad wants to show me the flight schedule. Talk to you all soon!

California here I come!

I am still counting down days waiting for the day to come. 2 More days! It is so hard to believe! I am using one of my Mom's old cameras to take pictures. I had bought one from Limited Too but it stinks! The pictures are horrible! They are all grainy and you can not get a good one. It just so happens that my camera has a bubble in the lens, so we are taking it back because I really do not want a horrible camera! Here is a life lesson: Do NOT buy a camera from Limited Too EVER!The camera of Mom's that I am using is really nice but old. It still works really well so I am going to use it because I do not care how old it is. My best friend Rachel who has been spending the night since Friday said, "You'll be like... 'Hey guys wait I have to change my floppy disk!'" She is really funny and an AWESOME friend. My Mom's (soon to be mine) camera really does use floppy disks! lol Talk to you soon and thanks for reading this post!

I'm going to California!!

As you can tell by my title, I am going to California!!! I am so excited. OK. Let me tell you my story about when I got told.


I was coming home from my friends house when my Mom said "Hey Darrah I have a surprise for you." She brought out my 2 lost cds. OK... they weren't really lost but I had misplaced them I guess you could say. Then she said, " And I have another surprise for you but, you have to decide before midnight." She paused for a minute. I was looking confused. "OK... do you want to go to California? It would be only with Grand Dad." (We call him PaPa. It's french) I screamed. "Yeah I want to go!!!!! Why wouldn't I???" I was so excited. Now I just can not wait because I get to leave on April 1st. I am so so so so so EXCITED! This is a big opportunity for me and I am taking it. I know that I will have the best time ever! Of course I am not going for no reason. I am going for my birthday. It will be a little early but if I am going to go I have to go on Spring Break. :o)

My trip to Indiana

This weekend I went on a trip to Indiana with my Dad and my little sister Emery.. We went to my Dad's Moms house. She has a horse named Suzie Q. Her horse is so sweet. I brushed it and gave it oats and hay. I also rode it. It was very fun. We went on a trail back in the woods. We climbed a tall hill that had loose dirt and rocks. It was not such a good thing that we picked that hill to cross over. I bet you are wondering why. Well on the other side it was not flat land like we thought it was, it was a big slope. Then we had to climb down that. It was very hard to climb down because there was no branches to hold on to. After that we went back to my Nana's house and we rode Suzie Q 1 more time before we went home. And trust me that was only half a day. There's a lot more, but it would take me a long time to tell you about it. In 2 more weeks our whole family is going back up there.
